The Central Armed Police Forces exam will take place on 13th July 2014 as per the latest calendar of the UPSC. Eligibility criteria for CAPF 2014 exam

  • In order to be eligible for the CAPF 2014 exam, you need to be a citizen of India. The candidates of Nepal and Bhutan may also apply but they need to meet the other conditions as well
  • The females can only apply for the CRPF, SBB and CISF while the males can apply for any of the sectors depending on the number of vacancies which are available to be filled for the post of the Assistant Commandants
  • The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and that too from a recognized university or college
  • The minimum age for this exam is 20 years but the SC/ST candidates can get some kind of relaxation. In this case you need to provide the certificate in support of the relaxation
  • Physical fitness is also very important and therefore the candidates must make it a point that you are physically fit to appear for the exam.
