Piku is a Bollywood movie filled with Drama and Comedy. Deepika Padukone, along with Amitabh Bachchan is in the lead role, and holds the movie all together. Movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and music is given by Anupam Roy.

Deepika Padukone a.k.a Piku and Amitabh Bachchan a.k.a Bhaskor Banerjee portrays the life of typical Bengali family. They shift to New Delhi after Bhaskor got retirement. Movie revolves around the life of daughter and father relationships, with unique personality traits. Moody, bizarre, peculiar are some of the words that can explain Piku. Nobody wants to driver her to home because all her cab drivers are fed up with her drive fast attitude and temper problems.

Bhaskor Banerjee on the other hand, suffers from gastric disorders and talks about them only. He always tries to annoy Piku and both gets in fight. But the way they do it, is really hilarious. Audience love this way.

One day Bhaskor decides to visit his brother house in Kolkata. But due to his gastric problem, journey through plane and train was a big no. So they hire a cab, but not driver turns out as they know about behavior of Piku. But on insisting, Piku friend Rana Chaudhary who is also owner of the cabs comes to drive them to Kolkata on a 1500 Km journey.

They reach Kolkata and Bhaskor tells his daughter of about selling the house they have there. But the event that unfolds is something to see about. Relationship between Rana and Piku grow stronger as they visit Kolkata and eventually both fall in love. Movie was big hit and a commercial success as well.
