“Khaali Peeli” is one of the promising upcoming Hindi action thrillers which will be hitting the floors come June. The film is the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s superhit Telegu supernatural thriller movie “Taxiwala”. “Khaali Peeli” stars Ishaan Khatter in the lead role while Ananya Pandey has been paired opposite him. The other actors in lead role in the film are Jaideep Ahlawat of “Raazi”-fame as well as Deshna Duggad. It’s Khatter’s second movie after his debut in Dhadak. For junior Pandey, the movie marks the 3rd release after “SOTY2” and “Pati Patni Aur Woh”. “Khaali Peeli” will be officially released on June 12, 2020.

“Khaali Peeli” is essentially a love saga between Khatter and Pandey who play the roles of Arush Rawat and Advika Verma respectively. As it’s an action thriller, fans can expect high dose of action sequences and amazing stunts all across the film. Khatter and Pandey is a new pair and we are looking forward to find a fresh chemistry with the film. Ahlawat plays the antagonist Pranav Gokhale in the film. The movie was initially announced last year in August, with the makers unveiling the first look.

“Khaali Peeli” is directed by new director Maqbool Khan  as well as written by Yash-Seema. Rahul Sankrityan has penned the story for the film.  “Khaali Peeli”  is a joint production of Himanshu Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar. Zafar has a liking for action drama and he follows the trend in his upcoming movie as well. Vishal-Shekhar has composed the music for the film while Bhargav Purohit and Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics for the songs. Adil Afsar is the cinematographer of the movie while Rameshwar S. Bhagat is the editor. Zafar has had been a stickler for Salman Khan for long. It’s nice to see he has chosen comparatively fresh faces for his upcoming release.
