Aamir Khan makes his fans wait for long but that wait is usually worth it. Come Christmas, Mr. Perfectionist will be back again with another much awaited film of the year- “Laal Singh Chaddha”. It’s a Hindi comedy-drama movie where Khan plays the titular role and Kareena Kapoor Khan plays his lady love. Other important actors in the movie are Mona Singh as well as Tamil movie star Vijay Sethupathi. The announcement of the movie was made on March 14, 2019, on the birthday of Khan. The film makers also confirmed the film will be shot in 100+ locations across India. “Laal Singh Chaddha” will be released on December 25, 2020.

“Laal Singh Chaddha” is inspired by the 1994 Hollywood movie “Forrest Gump” which has been made immortal by Tom Hanks. The film has traced a number of historical things which are present in “Forrest Gump”. “Laal Singh Chaddha” marks the third film of Amir-Kareena duo after “3 Idiots” and “Talaash”. Principal photography of the movie started on October 31, 2019, in Chandigarh. The 2nd schedule of shooting began in December 2019 in Kolkata. From there, the crew travelled to Pravur, Changanassery, Kappil as well as Jaisalmer. The 3rd schedule of shooting commenced in Goa in the last week of December and afterwards shifted to Himachal Pradesh.

“Laal Singh Chaddha” is produced by Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan and Boney Kapoor while the director of the film is Advait Chandan. The Indian adaptation of the Hollywood film for Aamir Khan’s next is done by Atul Kulkarni. Famous cinematographer Setu has handled the cinematography of the film while Manik Dawar is the editor of the movie. The music has been composed by Pritam. “Laal Singh Chaddha”.
