Razneez Ghai is all set to release his new project” Dhaakad” come Diwali 2020. It’s a female-led action movie featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. Kangana is ready to take on the big screen once again and that too in a new avatar. She has mostly played a strong woman and was extremely excited with this project as well. Other actors who have played major roles in the film are Mimoh Chakraborty and Manoj Tiwari.

Talking further, the movie will be mounted on a large scale and will be shot across multiple locations in India and South East Asia, Middle East and Europe. The movie is a high rated action thriller – more of a like spy thriller. The movie has Kangana essaying the role of a “Spy” named “Agni”. “Dhaakad” features many high octane sequences and Kangana had to take training in Gun Fu from master action directors from Hong Kong and Thailand. Gun Fu can be defined as a mixture of martial arts and gun sequences.

Reportedly, the actress stated that this movie will not only be a benchmark for her career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. She further stated that after the success of Manikarnika, it has been clearly proven that the audiences across the globe love larger than life films with a female hero. Thus, it can be said the actress is ready for the battle as she is seen standing upright in the middle of the burning set with guns in both hands in the poster of the film. “Dhaakad” is certainly expected to make Diwali 2020 more “dhamakedaar” with its release.

The director Razi Ghai has co-written the film with Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra. The screenplay and dialogues for the film are written by Ritesh Shah. The movie has been produced by Sohail Maklai Productions and Asylum Films, co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media.
