“The Big Bull” is an upcoming 2020 biographical financial crime drama film directed by Kookie Gulati under the joint banner of Ajay Devgan Films and Panorama Studios. The movie casts Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Actors like Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Sumit Vats, Ram Kapoor, Soham Shah, Sanjeev Pandey, Lekha Prajapati are also there in the film. ”The Big Bull” is all set to hit the theatres on 23rd October, 2020.

Talking further, the film is based on the real events of financial market that took place between 1990 –2000. “The Big Bull” is reportedly loosely based on the infamous stock broker Harshad Mehta who was charged for numerous financial crimes during the securities scams of 1992. Abhishek Bachchan was last seen on big screen with Anurag Kashyap’s “Manmarziyaan” in the year 2018. In 2020, the actor will be seen in 3 back to back films with “The Big Bull” as one of them. He will play the character of Harshad Mehta and Nikita Dutta plays Jyoti Meheta (Harshad Mehta’s wife). Apparently, Abhishek and the co-star Ileana are not paired opposite to each other. The movie gives us a major feeling of the Hollywood super hit film “The Wolf of the Wall Street “ which has Leonardo DeCaprio  in the lead role.

The principal photography of the film began on 16th September, 2019.The movie is produced by Ajay Devgan, Anand Pandit and co –produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Vikrant Sharma. The story of the movie is written by Arjun Dhawan and Kookie Gulati himself while Ritesh Shah is behind the dialogues. The director-story writer of the film Kookie Gulati has also penned down as a screenplay writer. The music is arranged by Chandan Saxena and Guru Randhawa with Sanjoy Chowdhury behind the background score of the movie. Vishnu Rao is the cinematographer of the movie and Dharmendra Sharma is the Editor.
