Abir Sengupta , the Bengali writer-filmmaker , is all set to mark his presence in Bollywood with his Hindi directorial debut “Indoo Ki Jawani “. This romantic comedy features Aditya Seal , second male lead in “Student Of the Year 2” and the “Fugly” girl Kiara Advani in the lead roles. This movie is an upcoming 2020 Bollywood coming –of –age comedy under the joint banner of T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and Electric Apples. “Indoo Ki Jawani” is ready to hit the silver screens on 5th June, 2020. Apart from the leading actors, the film also stars Mallika Dua, Mohammed Iqbal Khan as well as Govind Pandey.

Narratively, the plot of the movie revolves round the protagonist Indoo Gupta (played by Kiara Advani). Indoo is a Ghaziabad-based feisty, young girl whose left and right swaps on a dating app resulted in hilarious chaos. Advani is excited to play her part in the movie and had earlier described her character as edgy, lovable and quirky. The dialect is completely new and the actress had to do a lot of workshops to get that right. At last the wait is over for both Kiara and her fans for the movie is going to hit the theatres soon.

The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Monisha Advani as well as Madhu Bhojwani , Nikhil Advani, along with Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Stephen as Co-producers. A Vasanth is behind the cinematography of the film while the editing is done by A Sreekar Prasad. The principal photography of the movie started on 23rd October, 2019 in Lucknow and wrapped up on 22nd November, 2019.Tanishk Bagchi is the music composer of the movie. Two tracks are to be recreated for this film: “Ghash Khake” from the movie Khoobsurat sung by Sukhwinder Singh and “Dil Mera Laigiya” originally sung by Nindy Kaur. For the upcoming movie, the songs will be sung by Mannat Noor and Harrdy Sandhu.
