Ambedkar Jayanti, a day to remember father of constitution
The name Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is taken with great respect to the person who gained immense knowledge by his endless efforts and worked hard against all odds. He is a known scholar and a political leader of India who provided a huge contribution to the freedom fight for the independence of India.
Every year Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated on 14th of April. On Ambedkar Jayanti public holiday is observed in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and many other states on India.
This day is celebrated as birthday of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who made the constitution of India being the president of the Constitution formation committee of India. He was a politician, anthropologist as well as a renowned economist of his age. He was born on 14 April 1891. He was widely known for his campaigned against the caste system in India.
He was the first untouchable Indian to take a degree college. He was doctorate in Law, Economics, and political science. He turned out to be the voice of untouchable. He got a lot of degrees during his lifetime and achieved a lot of notable achievements which one can not to do in a number of lives also. He is a role model for a number of people.

Every year his birthday is celebrated in all over India. Every year on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti the President, Prime Minister and other political leaders pay homage to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at the Parliament in New Delhi. His birthday is celebrated at a huge level in India. Many organizations conduct event based on his life. Quiz competition, painting competition, drama, nukkad nataks are arranged. At college level debate competitions are held. Student enthusiastically takes parts in those events.
