West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) have released a job notification for Lower division Assistant LDA and Lower Division Clerk LDC. Last Date for submittion of the WBSSC LDC LDA form is 28-12-2015. You have to fill the WBSSC application form online from the official website. Check all links below. Minimum Age is 18 years while maximum age is 40 years for this job profile. Relaxation of age limit will be provided and detail is given below. Application Fees is Rs 220 for General and OBC candidates while ST/SC/PH candidates have to pay just Rs 20. Eligibility

10th Class pass candidates from any recognized board in INDIA can apply for this job. You must have good computer knowledge and a typing speed of 20 words or more is must in english along with 10 words per minutes in Bengali language. You must have a 6 months computer operation certificate, any diploma certification or any equivalent certification. Total 599 vacancies are available in around 14 different departments combined.

Important Points

• Date of birth mentioned only on 10th Board exam certificate or admit card will be accepted as a valid proof in case of Age verification.
• As on 1/1/2015, Minimum Age should be 18 years and Maximum age should be 40 years

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit

• FOR ST and SC Candidates of West Bengal - 5 years 
• For BC -A and BC - B candidates of West Bengal - 3 years
• For Persons with Disablities - Maximum Age 45 years
• Candidates who have been in Government service continuously for at least two years = 2 years
• For the Ex-Servicemen candidates, Based on Government Rules

WBSSC LDC or LDA Exam Pattern

Two examination will be taken. Selected candidates based on merit list from first examination will only be allowed to participate in second exam.

Part 1 - First Exam

• 100 Questions, 100marks, each question one mark 
• All questions will be Multiple choice.
• English 30 Questions 30 Mark
• General Studies 40 Questions 40 Mark
• Arithmetic 30 Questions 30 Mark
• Duration of the examination = 1 hour and 30 minutes

Part 2 - Second Exam
Second exam is further divided in two part

• Group A - English
• Group B - Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali

Each Group, 50 marks
