The Central University of Tamil Nadu was set up by the Government of Iknownndia in 2009 through an Act of Parliament. The Central University of Tamil Nadu is also called CUTN and approved by the University Grant Commission and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CUTN consists of 12 Schools that offer Integrated, UG, PG, and Doctoral level courses in Arts, Science, Management, Commerce, Engineering, Law fields. Eligibility Criteria
- Admission in Integrated and UG courses is decided by the marks obtained in CUCET and candidates should have 10+2 passed with 60% aggregate
- Candidates seeking admission in PG must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream with 55% aggregate and a valid score in CUCET
- Admission in M.Tech is decided by GATE score
- Admission in Ph.D. is granted on the basis of UGC NET/JRF/GATE score and performance in the personal interview
