Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University was set up by the State Government on 21st January 2005 with the aim to provide systematic, quality education in Engineering & Technology under UG, PG, and Doctoral programs. There are 44 Engineering Institutes, 1 Architecture institution, 11 Pharmacy institutes, and 40 Polytechnic colleges affiliated to the university. The university is spread over 250 acres of campus and recognized by the UGC & AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

• Admission in B.E/B.Tech is permitted on the basis of Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test/JEE Mains score and candidates should have passed higher secondary with PCM subjects
• Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech must have a valid score in the GATE examination and holds a B.Tech degree in the relevant stream
• Candidates seeking admission in MBA should have valid marks in the CAT/MAT 
• Admission to MCA is decided by the CSVTU entrance exam
