Awadhesh Pratap Singh University is an autonomous institution in Rewa city, often called ‘the land of white tigers', located in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The college was named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a famous flexibility contender. The college is an instructing cum-affiliating organization with its locale in excess of 65 schools in the regions of Rewa, Sidhi, Shahdol, Umariya and Satna, other than 21 Sanskrit universities and 85 Sanskrit schools spread all over Madhya Pradesh. The college is on a 246.20 sections of land (0.9963 km2) scope of area in the north of Rewa city, at a separation of around 5 km from it, with its grounds lying on either side of Rewa-Sirmour Road. The development of MBA division and the upper carpet of Central Library building and Antarbharti are finished.

Arranged on the foot of Vindhya's, the University Campus is at home and ecologically benevolent, a long way from the hurrying around of the city life. The Campus introduces a scene of Ashrams of antiquated times. The University has been named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a recognized child of the dirt and a flexibility contender.

Awadhesh Pratap Singh University is a public university and it was started in 1968 by the Government of the MP. The university was approved by UGC in 1972 and it is located in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU). The university has a large campus area of 246.20 acres and it contains separate buildings for the departments of Environmental department, Physics center, Tribal, MBA department, Computer Center, Hall for Yoga practices, Physics center, Guesthouse, Antarbharti, Library, etc. The APS University is an instructing cum-affiliating University with its locale in excess of 65 schools arranged in the regions of Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Shahdol, Umariya and Singrauli.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students seeking admission in MBA should need to clear the CMAT entrance exam and have completed graduation with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
• Students trying to get admission in any of the UG courses should have 10+2 with 50% marks.
• Admission to the PG course is granted on the basis of a graduation degree with 50% aggregate. 

Placement

Many companies visit the campus to hire students. The selection of students depends on their academic skills and performances.

Other Facilities

• The Scholarship is granted to the students of scheduled caste and scheduled tribes as per State Government rules. 
• The other useful facilities provided by the universities are a hostel, library with a large collection of books, well-equipped labs, etc.
