Indian Institute of Technology Indore (also known as IIT Indore) was inaugurated in 2009 by the Government of India and its rank is 13 among the best engineering colleges by NIRF in India. Previously, the institute was operated from its temporary campus, and then it was shifted to the permanent campus situated at Simrol, Indore in 2016. IIT Indore provides courses under UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the field of Engineering, Science, and Technology. The nearest railway station is Choral railway station which is 12 km away from the Institute and Ujjain Airport is the nearest airport which is 79 km away from the campus.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech must have passed 12th class with a minimum percentage of 75 from a recognized board. 
• Admission in B.Tech is granted on the basis of valid marks in the JEE Advanced
• Admission in M.Sc is granted on the basis of IIT-JAM score
• Admission in M.Tech is decided by the GATE score
• Admission in Ph.D. is granted on the basis of qualifying marks in the UGC NET/CSIR-UGC NET exam
