Every exam has eligibility criteria which are a must to be fulfilled by every candidate who wishes to appear for any exam. BITSAT 2014 is an entrance exam which is conducted by BITS for the three different campuses including Hyderabad, Pilani and Goa. Eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2014
- The first criteria to appear for the BITSAT exam is that the candidate should have passed their class 12thexam from any recognized board
- The minimum qualifying marks are aggregate of 75% in physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. But a minimum of 60% is also required in each of the individual subjects.
- The candidates who are already studying in BITS cannot apply for this exam again
- Proficiency in English is a must to be eligible for BITSAT 2014
- If any candidate has appeared in class 12th exam twice, the latest result will be considered as their performance to apply for the exam
- If the students are appearing for their class 12th exam and will complete the same in 2014, they can still appear for the exam
The students are also eligible for direct admission in case they are board toppers. For this, the candidates have to apply separately with all the required documents so that the merit list can be prepared and best students can be shortlisted. A documentary certificate is also required from their Boards to ensure that they have qualified for direct admission.
