Here is a brief on CTET exam eligibility criteria.
Eligibility criteria for candidates who will appear for CTET exam Paper 1-
The CTET 2020 Eligibility criteria for candidates appearing for Paper 1 are:
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks
- S/he should pass (or be appearing) in the last year of two-year Elementary Education Diploma
Or,
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 45 percent marks
- S/he should pass (or be appearing) in the last year of two-year Elementary Education Diploma as per NCTE Regulations 2002
Or,
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks
- S/he should also pass (or be appearing) in the last year of four-year B.El.Ed examination.
Or,
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks
- Alongside, s/he must hold pass certificate for two-year Diploma course in Special Education
Or,
- Candidate should hold graduate degree certificate in his/her relevant discipline
- S/he should hold certificate for two-year Elementary Education Diploma course
CTET Eligibility criteria for candidates appearing for Paper 2 are
- Candidate should hold graduate degree certificate in his/her relevant discipline
- S/he should pass (or be appearing) in the last year of two-year Elementary Education Diploma
Or,
- Candidate must complete bachelor’s degree carrying minimum 50 percent marks
- Candidate should have completed one-year B.Ed. course
Or,
- Candidate must be a graduate with minimum 45 percent marks
- Candidate should have completed one-year B.Ed. course as per NCTE Regulations
Or,
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks
- Candidate should pass (or be appearing) in the last year of B.El.Ed 4-year course
Or,
- Candidate must pass senior secondary exam (or equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks
- Candidate should pass (or be appearing) in the last year of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed 4-year course
Or,
- Candidate must be a graduate with minimum 50 percent marks
- Candidate should have completed one-year B.Ed. course (Special Education)
