Every exam has its own eligibility criteria. It’s very important to set constraints over the eligibility criteria for exams because there are students who always try to give exams for their practice. And if there will be no eligibility criteria then anyone of any age will come and give the exam which act as an obstacle for deserving candidates. It is also very important to avoid any kind of fraud with these examinations. So, following the same pattern there are specified eligibility criteria for IGNOU Openmat 2014.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Following are the major eligibility criteria for taking admission into 2014 Management program of IGNOU:
- Applying candidate must have a bachelor degree in any course with minimum 50 percent marks. Reserved categories are provided with a 5 % exemption.
- Graduates must have minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory or professional experience.
- Candidates having Engineering or Medicine or Law or Architecture as their bachelor degree are also eligible for this program.
- Any professional qualification in Company Secretary Ship or Accountancy are found eligible for this entrance examination.
- Students who have their Master’s degree can also apply for the same. There is no restriction on the subjects you pursued in your masters.
- There is no specified age limit for this examination.
- Special relief is for those students who have qualified their CAT or Mat or any such examination. There is no need to apply if you have already qualified these exams.
- Foreign students are also eligible to apply for the same. But for this have your student VISA till the completion of this program.
- If you are having 10+ 2 as maximum qualification but is having 6 years of managerial or professional experience with the same, then you are eligible to apply for the IGNOU Openmat exam.
