Nationality
The candidates interested to sit for JIPMER MD MS 2016 entrance exam should be an Indian national. However, JIPMER also approves overseas Indian citizens or OCIs who are registered under 1955 Citizenship Act Section 7A. The OCI candidates have to show up with their citizenship registration proof during counseling sessions.
Educational eligibility & experience
The aspiring JIPMER MD MS 2016 candidates are required to hold a MBBS or some similar degree, accredited by Indian Medical Council.
In regards to experience, the candidates have to complete a 1 year Rotatory Housemanship Internship Training. The rotating internship should be completed by 31st December 2015. No condonation regarding the internship beyond the mentioned date would be entertained.
Status of application
The applicants who have completed or done MS or MD in any of the subjects from any of the institution would not be accepted to seek admission for the JIPMER MD MS course.
The JIPMER MD MS 2016 application form is now available on the official site of the university. The online mode is the sole way for application and last date for registration is October 19, 2015.
The JIPMER MD MS 2016 examination would be conducted online through computer backed test centers all over India. There will be 250 multiple-choice questions which the applicant would have to answer within 3 hours. The results would be out by November 27, 2015.
