The TET exam for the state of Maharashtra will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) with the purpose of milking out the best possible teachers for the students of the state. The examination will be conducted all over the state of Maharashtra according the rules that have been stated by the authorities who control TET as the central level. The exam that will be conducted will be aimed to select the teachers for two stages: Primary and Middle up to class 8. Previously, the maximum qualification required to get the job as a teacher was the completion of Bachelor of Education but with the present new rules, one has to pass the TET exams compulsorily in order to qualify for the post of a teacher.
Maharashtra TET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for being able to sit for the TET exams includes the pass certificate of 12th standard or any equivalent with a minimum score of 45%. To add to that a course on B.EL.Ed has to be completed or a diploma with the preference of any stream or Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science with an average score of 50% is required along with the mandatory Bachelor of Education qualification. The age barrier that is set for the aspirants of TET exams is an age of 20 to 28 years. Just like the other official Government exams, there are some special relaxations of age for people of different sections and the relaxation follows the same rule.
Maharashtra TET 2021 – Application Procedure
Every year there is an addition to the mass that is in demand for jobs. Thus, in order to apply for the TET exams one has to fill the application form of the exam. The application form can be filled online by logging on to the site and filling in the details.
Once the process of registration is complete, the applicant has to deposit the exam fee to the bank and then send the received Challan and the required proofs to the office of Maharashtra TET examinations. The last date when online application filling will come to an end is 22.10.2021. The Challan and the documents must be updated before 27.10.2021.

Maharashtra TET 2021 – Application Fee and Structure
The fee for applying for the TET examinations of Maharashtra is 800 INR for the general students and 400 INR for the reserved candidates. The applicants will have to deposit the fees to the State Bank of India Pune and State Bank of India Hyderabad.
