SCRA exam is conducted twice every year by the Indian railway. The Indian railway is the first tri-services academy of the Indian Armed Forces. It is also known as SCRA. This consolidated services academy belongs to the Indian Armed Forces. The candidates who are appearing in the SCRA entrance examination can easily join any of the three services, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy and the Indian Army. The Naval Academy Examination is also conducted by UPSC twice a year. All the interested and eligible candidates can fill in the online application form for SCRA 2014. The Indian Railway announces a total number of 355 posts for the candidates. Among these 355 total posts, 66 posts are reserved for the Indian Air Force Services, 39 posts for the Indian Navy and 195 posts for the Indian Army Services. The candidates who are interested in taking admission in the SCRA can fill an online application form. If you are interested in joining the Indian Army services, then you need to be class 12th pass from CBSE, ICSE or state board. If you are interested in joining the Indian Air Force or the Indian Navy services, then you need to be class 12th passed with Mathematics and Physics. All 12th class appearing candidates can also fill in the SCRA application form.
All the eligible candidates can fill in the application form that is available on the official website of Indian Railway. You can also visit to your nearest post office and buy an application form. Make sure that you fill in the application form online before the last date gets over. Also remember to take a print out of the application form for any future identification. All the applicants will be required to pay a charge of Rs 50 in order to fill in the SCRA 2014 application form.
