Being a premium most institution, imparting the best of knowledge to future engineering students requires students to also be prepared to handle the workload. So, for the prospects looking to make it past the VITEEE exam, they have to go through a variety of subjects would be mentioned in the syllabus.
The subjects which comprise of the syllabus are: -
Physics: -
The chapters in the syllabus are: -
- Laws of motion and work, energy and power,
- Properties of matter,
- Electrostatics,
- Current electricity,
- Magnetic effects of electric current,
- Electromagnetic induction and alternating current,
- Optics,
- Dual nature of radiation and atomic physics,
- Nuclear physics,
- Semiconductor devices and their applications.
Chemistry: -
The chapters in the syllabus are: -
- Atomic structure,
- P, d and f- Block elements,
- Coordination chemistry and solid-state chemistry,
- Thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium and chemical Kinetics,
- Electrochemistry,
- Isomerism in organic compounds,
- Alcohols and Ethers,
- Carbonyl compounds,
- Carboxylic acids and their derivatives,
- Organic nitrogen compounds and biomolecules, consisting of carbohydrates, amino acids, and lipids.
Biology: -
The chapters in the syllabus are: -

- Cell and molecular biology,
- Reproduction,
- Genetics and evolution,
- Human health and diseases,
- Biochemistry,
- Plant physiology,
- Human physiology,
- Biotechnology and its applications,

Mathematics: -
The chapters in the syllabus are: -
- Matrices and their applications,
- Trigonometry and complex numbers,
- Analytical geometry of two dimensions,
- Vector algebra,
- Analytical geometry of three dimensions,
- Differential calculus,
- Integral calculus and its applications,
- Differential equations,
- Probability distributions,
- Discrete mathematics.
English: -
Instructions given to the candidates: -
- Questions from number 121 to 125 will be on English language, and they would be multiple choice questions.
- Questions number 121,122 and 123 are comprehensive questions. These will be based on short passages or lines of poems or even dialogues between two people.
- Questions number 124 and 125 are based on the English grammar and pronunciation.
- It would be best if the candidates could go through the text very carefully, and choose the correct answer from the different choices given in the question.
Note: - The English syllabus is comprehensive, but well within the realms of people taking the examination conducted by VITEEE.
The students will need to be well versed in all the above-mentioned subjects so as to get through to becoming one of the several successful students of VITEEE in 2021.
