VITMEE 2014 Entrance Exam

Eligibility criteria

The VITMEE 2014 eligibility criteria are

• The aspiring VITMEE candidate should be an Indian national resident.
• The applicant must graduate from India based institution only.
• The applicants would have to graduate with full –time Bachelors degree from recognized Indian Universities, with 60 percent cut-off for MCA admission & 50 percent for M.Tech program.
• The applicant should come up with consistent records both in Class X & XII.
• Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their graduate degree examination are also eligible for application.
• Candidates who’ve completed final year exam/semester prior to selection interview procedure at VIT, are eligible for application as well.
• Selected candidates should produce the final-year Provisional degree-certificate & marks’ statement prior to August 15, 2014.

Application form for VITMEE 2014

The VITMEE 2014 application form is available online. The aspiring candidates have to take towww.vit.ac.in/vitmee to fill up the application form. The VITMEE application form for this year is being offered online since 3^rd February. The last date of receipt of VITMEE 2014 application form is May 15, 2014. After filling up the application form, the candidate is required to take a print out of that form and send it to- Director, PG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore-14.

VITMEE 2014 fee

The VITMEE 2014 application fee is 950 INR for all the aspiring candidates. The candidates can choose to pay either through Net Banking or DD or Debit/Credit cards. In regards to candidates taking to DD mode, the application number, address, cell phone number and name should be mentioned on DD reverse & must be posted along with the hardcopy of the online application.

VITMEE 2014 examination

The VITMEE 2014 examination is scheduled for June 7 & 8. The exam duration is 2 hours- 10:00 a.m. till 12 noon & again 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be a CBT (Computer Based Test) examination comprising of 110 questions. The question paper would be available in English only and there no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam centers are located in all the major cities across India.
