Jagadguru Ramandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University is a state-owned university that was set up by the Government of Rajasthan on 6th Feb 2001 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The older name of the university was Rajasthan Sanskrit University then it was changed to Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University in 2005. The university consists of many departments like Rigveda, Krishna Yajur Veda, Sama Veda (Kuthuma Shaka), Shukla Yajurveda  (MadhyandiniyaShakha), Atharva Veda, Paurohitya, Dharmashastra, Ved Vignyan, Mandan Mishra was appointed as the first chancellor of the university. The university has over 60 affiliated colleges. All the courses of the JRSUU are approved and recognized by the University Grant Commission. The provides various UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma levels courses in the field of Sanskrit, Home Science, Computer Science, Economics, Environment Science, History, Social Science, History, Political Science, Public Administration

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to the UG, and PG courses must have completed Higher Secondary and Graduation from a recognized university
• Admission to UG and PG courses are decided by the merit list in the qualifying exam
• Admission to Diploma and Certificate courses is decided on the basis of merit in higher secondary
