The central university of Haryana was started by MHRD in 2009 and its main campus is located at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana. It consists of 13 schools and 50 departments. The university provides several courses in various specializations like Arts, Science, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Commerce, etc.

- The research-related courses are Ph.D. and M.Phil
Eligibility Criteria
- Students seeking admission in B.Tech must have a valid score in the JEE Main/CUCET and 10+2 in PCM with a minimum of 50% aggregate
- Candidates trying to take admission in M.Tech must have a valid score in the GATE exam
- Admission in all other PG courses are decided by a valid score in CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test)
- Admission in M.Phil and Ph.D. is given on the basis UGC NET/JRF score
Placement
The university has a training and placement cell of highly professional and talented members who organize various mock tests, interviews, and seminars to improve student’s skills & knowledge and prepare them for the campus placement. Reliance, Pantaloons, Apna Bazar, Bikaner, OM Logistics are some of the top recruiters. The placement percentage is around 50% with the highest salary package of 7 Lakh per annum.

The university supports deserving and economically weak students by running various scholarship schemes and some of them are Swami Vivekananda Single Girl Child Scholarship, Post-Doctoral fellowship for ST/SC students, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for students belonging to SC caste, etc
