Burdwan University is one of the oldest central universities of the state of West Bengal. The University was established in the year 1960, with just as many as 6 programs for higher education under its name. Eligibility Criteria

• The Admission in B.Tech is decided on the basis of a valid score in the WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations) examination
• Admission in all other UG courses are granted on the merit base and 10+2 with 45% 
• For M.Tech, candidates need to clear the GATE examination and appear
• Admission in MBA is allotted on the basis of MAT scores followed by GD and interview
• Admission in Ph.D. and M.Phil is decided on the basis of a valid score in written test, and interview
