Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya of India is dedicated to the proficiency of students in their respective subjects and their mental, physical and social upliftment. It was founded by the Government of Chhattisgarh in 2004 in the Kathadih village. The university’s main campus is situated near the Kharun river in Kathadih Village which is 6 km away from Raipur city. The institution offers various courses at UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral levels through its 8 departments i.e, Department of Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Electronic Media, Social Work, Management, Indology & Heritage Management, Language.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission in UG courses must have passed 12 class from a recognized university and age should not be more than 22 years for general and 25 years for ST/SC
• Candidates seeking admission in PG Courses must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 45 % aggregate and maximum age is 27 years & 30 years for ST/SC
• Admission to all the UG, PG courses are granted on the basis of valid marks in the entrance exam conducted by the university
