Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat was set up in 2004 and is recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, and University Grants Commission of India. The university contains 7 colleges, 17 research centers, and 6 extension centers. Its ranking is 67th in India by NIRF. Its former name was Gujarat Agricultural University.

Eligibility Criteria
- The admission to the UG program is decided by a valid score in the GUJCET entrance exam conducted by the university + Mandatory English Language & 10+2 with science.
- The minimum requirement for admission in the PG course is 4 years of Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 O.G.P.A.
- The admission to the Doctoral program is confirmed on the basis of a Master’s degree.
