Indus University was initially started as the Indian Institute of Technology & Engineering in Rancharda, Gujarat and then got the status of university in 2012. The university is approved and recognized by the University Grant Commission and AICTE. The university provides various courses in the field of Engineering, Management, Commerce, Design, Aviation Technology, Architecture, Clinical Research.

Eligibility Criteria
- Admission to the B.Tech is given on the basis of GUJCET/JEE Main score
- Admission to B.Arch is provided on the basis of valid marks in the NATA
- Admission to M.Tech is granted on the basis of valid marks in the GATE
- Admission to MBA is decided by the CAT/MAT/CMAT score
- Admission to Ph.D. is decided on the basis of valid scores in the Indus University Research Aptitude Test (IURAT) followed by the Personal Interview
Scholarship
Scholarships are provided to students belonging to the ST/SC/EWS/Minor communities if they achieved 75% marks in the Higher Secondary. Students who come under the sports quota are also eligible for the scholarships.
