Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (also known as IIT Bombay) was set up in 1958 in Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Indian Parliament declared the IIT Bombay as the “Institutition of National Importance” in 1961. - Admission in MBA is decided by the CAT exam followed by the GD and Personal Interview
