Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University is a state government university that was founded in 1986 in Patan, Gujarat. The university is approved & recognized by the University Grant Commission and provides a wide range of courses in the streams of Commerce, Science, Management, Arts. HNGU campus is constructed over an area of 212.5 acres.

The courses are given below:

• Full-Time BA and MA in Economics, Sanskrit, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science specializations
• Full-Time Bachelor of Science and M.Sc in Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics subjects
• Full-Time B.Com in Business Management, Statistics, Account
• The other UG courses are B.Arch, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BSW, B.Voc
• LLM in Business Law, Human Rights, Criminal Law
• The other master’s courses are MSW, MBA, M.Com
• The doctoral program includes a Ph.D. in Physical Education, Psychology, Zoology, Sociology, Economics
• M.Phil in Chemistry, Life Science, History, Law

Eligibility Criteria

• Admission in B.Arch is decided by the NATA score
• Admission in all other UG courses are given on the basis of merits in the 10+2 exam
• Admission in B.Ed is decided by the entrance test conducted by the university
• Admission in MBA is allowed on the basis of CMAT score
• Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. & M.Phil must have a valid score in the CSIR NET/ UGC NET and the final selection is dependent on the personal interview round

Placement

The university has a placement cell of highly skilled and experienced faculty members. They provide training, and guidance to students for their campus selection and work as a mediator between students and recruiters. Some of the companies that visited in the previous years are Cisco, CSA, Arena, etc. Students are selected on the average salary package of 1.5 lakh per annum.
