CAT 2015 is down the corner and the test will be held on 29th November, 2015. This test will be held in more than 130 cities but for appearing in the test one will need to fill the application form. Here is a guide to filling the application form.
- The applicant for CAT 2015 must remember the date of start of registration for the test. The most important date the candidate must remember is the last date of registration. It is because if that date is missed then you will need to wait for 1 year more to apply for the next CAT.
- The CAT entrance fees are divided into two different parts. This is the initial step in application to the CAT 2015. The candidate must pay the registration fees after registering in the official site of CAT. The fees for registration are Rs 1600 for general category students. This fee is to be paid before filling the application form. This fee is reduced to Rs. 800 for SC/ST/people with disability and Differently abled candidates.
- The other thing while filling the form the candidate must remember that the name and other personal details stated in the form must be filled in correctly. This is because the documents will be verified and anytime the CAT board can exempt the student and cancel the application if found of wrong information. So all the details in the form must be filled correctly.
- The mandatory fields in the form must be filled and cannot be left empty. Without filling this field one will not be able to submit the form as the system will not allow submitting it.
- While filling the form you must also make sure that you fill only what is relevant. If you belong to any special category then make sure that you have all the documents in order to prove it as it may get cancelled without the presence of appropriate certificates.
- The email id should be filled in correctly as most of the communication will be done through it. After paying the fees make sure that you take the printout of the page for future references.
