TBJEE 2016 Date of Birth criteria
- If you are born on or after the 1st of October in 1991, you are eligible to sit for TBJEE 2016.
- For the reserved categories, the age limit has a five year relaxation and so, it means that a candidate of the reserved category will be allowed to sit for the exam if he/she is born on or after the 1st October 1986.
- The DOB that the candidate mentions in the application form of the exam should be the same as the one on Secondary Board certificate or University Certificate.
TBJEE 2016 Qualification
- All the candidates who wish to appear in the TBJEE 2016 should have passed their class 12 examinations in the session of 2014-2015.
- Candidates who are about to appear in the class 12 examinations in 2016 are also eligible to sit for the TBJEE 2016 exam.
- For TBJEE 2016 eligibility, the candidate should have at least 5 subjects in class 12 board exams. These are the subjects required to appear in the respective papers of the exam:
Paper 1: Language, Mathematics, Physics, and one of the following: biology, chemistry, Technical vocation subject and any other subject. The candidate should have a minimum of 45% marks in each of the above mentioned subjects. The candidates of reserved categories need to have 40% of the marks in each subject.
Paper 2: along with all the above mentioned papers, Mathematics has to be a compulsory subject and the candidate has to get 50% marks including all 5 subjects.
- The candidate has to be a class 12 pass by a recognized state or central board.
- The candidate can have a 2 year intermediate or pre-university examination carried by a recognized university.
- Candidates hailing from senior secondary school exams carried by National Institute of Open Schooling are also eligible if they have 5 subjects.
- Candidates having given the final exam of Joint services wing of the National defence Academy.
- Any board exam in India or foreign nation that is recognized as the 10+2 system by AIU.
- Vocational exams of H.S.C
- A 3year diploma under AICTE or any state board of technical education.
