TISSNET exam is conducted every year by Tata Institute Of Social Sciences for selecting candidates for its Post Graduate programs. TISS is famous for its social science and social work courses and a degree from TISS is always a great leverage for your CV in case you are planning a career in the social science circuit. The post here offers a brief on TISSNET 2021 eligibility criteria.
- According to TISSNET eligibility criteria, the aspiring candidate should have bachelor’s degree (3 years duration minimum) from recognized university. The candidate must fulfill the fifteen-years mandatory requirement of formal education- under 10+2+4 or 10+2+3 or 10+2+2+1 course pattern.
- Candidates studying in 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree program are also eligible for application. But he or she should pass in every subject in 1st-4th semesters.
- Candidates studying in 4th year of the bachelor’s degree program can also apply as per eligibility criteria of TISSNET entrance exam. But he or she should pass in every subject in 1st-6th semesters.
Some more points on TISSNET 2021 eligibility criteria:
- TISSNET would consider the pass class taken by the candidate in his or her bachelor’s program while deciding on the eligibility for the test.
- Candidates in last year of Bachelor’s program but have failed in any of the major or main or subsidiary exam in any year won’t be eligible to site for the test.
- Candidates who have failed in last year of Bachelor’s degree examination won’t be allowed for application.
- In case any provisionally admitted student fails in his or her final year of Bachelor’s program exam & even if the candidate has re-evaluation in college/university, she/he won’t be allowed to join the TISS program.
The TISSNET 2021 would be held on January 9 the next year. The online registration process has already started and the last date of sending online application is November 30, 2020.
