The Uttar Pradesh Technical University has opened their gates for admission for the batch of 2017. This time around the admission forms are to be filled online and all the procedure will be followed online. Here are some important instructions that every candidate must be aware off.
- Application to the different branches in the UPTU for the year 2017 will be online. The application will be available only on website www.upsee.nic.in.
- The Online application starts from 24th February 2016 11:00 AM till 27th March 2016, 5:00 PM. The form can be submitted at the same time period.
- Before filling the form all the candidates must go through eligibility criteria and ensure that they are eligible for the test.
- This test is open for students who are a resident of the state or their parents are a domicile of the state. Apart from this if any student who has passé the qualifying exam from any institute in Uttar Pradesh.
- This exam is also open for students who do not belong to the state or their parents are not domicile of the state. This opening is dependent of few criteria’s that are mentioned in the eligibility criteria
- The application is procedure is online and no student is not required to send any hard copy to the university while the confirmation page printout should be saved for personal record.
- The state government has offered 10% of the seats in the private institutions affiliated to ATKU. These seats are open for students both residents of the state as well as outside state. The admission to these institution will only be basis on the merit of UPSEE
- The university also has not set any age limit to admission in any of the courses.
- The candidates are required to upload a passport size image along with a left thumb impression
- The candidates who will be opting for reservation need not to upload any certificate online. Although the candidate must provide original as well as self-attested copy of the document during document verification.
- The certificate number 2 for OBC candidates will be entertained if and only if it issued on or after 01.04.2017
- The candidates whose results are awaited are also eligible for this examination. Although the students must have the results during admission procedure.
- The results once declared will be considered as final. The students though can ask for a review of answer sheet on payment of Rs 5000 per paper.
- The university holds all the rights on rejecting the students for sitting in the test if any document is found not valid.
- Entrance exam fee for male and transgender candidates of General and OBC category is Rs 1000. For female candidates, SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates the fees is Rs. 500.
- The allotment of the seats will be carried on via counseling in accordance to UPSEE guidelines.
- The fees once submitted during counseling will be forfeited and will not be refunded in any circumstances.
- In case the form has missing information then the form will be rejected.
