It is that time of the year when the young aspirants of India looking for getting admitted into the college. There have been many common entrance tests for taking admission in various technical colleges all over the country. Students looking to get into the technical colleges need to go through the counselling stage. This is the stage when the young aspirants for the technical courses are allotted seats according to the ranks achieved in the common entrance test.
For getting admitted in the various colleges of the AKTU, one will need to take part in the counselling session. For taking part in the counselling session one will be required to pay a small amount of token fees. This fee is to be paid from June 26th to July 3rd. after paying these small token fees the student is eligible to take part in the counselling session for the admission in the 2022 batch of AKTU.

The counselling of the UPTU batch will be held in two different stages. The first stage is known as the choice filling stage and the second one is the confirmation of the seats. The first round or the choice filling round is to start from July 5th to 17th of July. This round of the counselling is divided into three stages. The first phase of the choice filling round will start on 5th July when the vacant seats will be displayed. From 5th to 7th July the choices are to be filled in by the students through the online portal. On 9th July the seat allotment for the phase 1 will be declared. This phase is just for the students with the rank of 1-30000.

The next phase namely the phase 2 is made for students who have achieved a rank between 30001-80000 and for students who are between 1-30000 and was not allotted any seat in phase 1. The display of the seats and choice filling for this phase is July 9th to 11th. The result for the round will be declared on 13th July. The 3rd and the final phase is made for the students who have ranked between 80001 till the last candidate and the students who have ranked between 1-80000 and have not been allotted any seat till date. The date for display and choice filling of the seat is July 13th to 15th. And the result for this round will be displayed on 17thof July.
From 17th July to 20th July the candidates are required to confirm their acceptance of the seats by paying fees of 15000. The University has also arranged for a special round of counselling for the SC ST and OBC students. The round will start from 21st July when the students are required to pay the counselling fees. The vacant seats and choice filling will start from 24th July and will go till 25th of July. The results for the allotment will be declared on 27th of July and the confirmation of seats will be on 27th and 28th of July.
