Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University was founded by the government of Rajasthan in 2003 in Jodhpur. The university is the second Ayurveda university in India and the first one in the state of Rajasthan. The university provides various courses for higher education in the field of Ayurved, Unani, Homeopathy, and Yoga & Naturopathy. The university consists of 44 affiliated colleges i.e, the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur, Madan Mohan Malviya Govt. Ayurveda College in Udaipur, University College of Ayurved in Jodhpur, Shekhawati Ayurveda College in Jhunjhunu, Vivekanand Yoga and Naturopathy College in Sikar, Bhanwar Lal Duggad Ayurveda Vishva Bharti in Churu, etc. The main campus which is located at Kadwad is spread over 322 acres of land. Ram Harsh Singh was the first Vice-Chancellor of the university.

- The UG courses include BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, BNYS, B.Sc (Ayurved Nursing)
- The PG courses include MD in Ayurveda and Homeopathy
- The Research program includes a Ph.D. in Ayurveda
Eligibility Criteria
- Admission in the UG courses is granted on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET entrance exam and candidates must have passed 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks
- Admission in MD is decided by the NEET - PG MCC examination and candidates must hold a BAMS/BHMs degrees with a minimum of 65% aggregate
- Admission in other certificates courses are granted on the basis of marks obtained in the higher secondary
- Admission in Ph.D. is decided by the entrance exam conducted on the National Level

- The university has a central library with a huge collection of 11000+ books in all subjects like Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Sanskrit & Modern Science, Unani, Yoga & Naturopathy, and Siddha.
- The university also provides hospital facilities with OPD, Panchkarma Centre, Geriatric Unit, Dental Unit, Dispensing Unit, Shalya karma Theatre (O.T.), IPD services.
