UGC conducts the NET examination twice a year. The exam is meant to choose candidates for Junior Research Fellowship & Lectureship in Indian colleges and Universities. The NET covers 95 subjects all total. The UGC NET Dec exam is dated for 04-11-2020. The exam will start at 9:30 and finalize by 4:30 P.M. There is a break from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. in between.
The post here is a short note of the fee structure and conditions for the 2020 ugc NET candidates.
The application fee for 2020 ugc NET is-
- The fee 1000 INR for general candidates
- The fee is 500 INR for the OBC candidates
- The SC, ST & PWD candidates would have to pay 200 INR
The candidates applying for UGC NET would have to go for an offline mode of payment. Post the fillup of the NET application form online, the candidate would take a print out of online Bank Challan & pay the required fee on any SBI branch, through cash. The payment has to be made on next business day post the challan generation. The bank charge is 40 INR.
After 2 days post the fee payment through the Bank Challan , the student must check out the fee payment status from UGC site. If the status comes “OK” that applicant can print out his/her application form, Attendance slip & Admit Card on A-4 papers.
The applicant must attach the Bank Challan copy with Application form printout, which would be submitted to Principal/Registrar of ugc NET opted Coordinating Institution.
It’s to mention here that fees submitted through any other route like demand draft, money order IPO etc. would not be accepted. The fee paid is not refundable in any circumstance.
