The district of North Delhi is also one of the most important districts for the administration of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and along with the Republic of India. When speaking of facts, the district is extremely important as it has the Civil Lines under its direct administration. The district is bordered by the River Yamuna and the districts of North West Delhi, Central Delhi and North East Delhi. Interestingly, the North Delhi district has more than 70 villages.
The district of Northern Delhi has a land area that amounts up to 60 sq km. The district’s population density is as high as 14973 individuals living across the area of the district. Although the size of the district is extremely small, the amount of population it supports is very much equal to the state of Delaware of the United States of America. The district has seen a growth in population of 13% approximately.
