JEE Main cut off for the JEE Main online application form
In regards to qualifying JEE Main cut off- the students have to score minimum 45 percent in each of the 5 subjects in the Class 12 qualifying exam. The cut off is 40 percent for those under the reserved categories. This cut off is for Paper 1.
In regards to Paper 2, Cut off is 50 percent in total including all subjects.
JEE Main Cut off for JEE Advanced
It’s to mention here that it is not possible to state the JEE Main cut off for selection of candidates for JEE Advanced beforehand. It’s because, the cut off here is only declared after the JEE Main result comes out. The candidates of JEE Main exam would get to know the cut off after 27th April as it’s the scheduled date for the JEE Main 2016 result.

- 105 marks for Common Merit List or CML
- 70 marks for Other Backward Classes under the Non Creamy Layer
- 50 marks for those under the Schedule Class category
- 44 marks for those under the Schedule Tribe category.
