Have you planned to appear for AIPMT 2016? The AIPMT for the coming year is scheduled to take place in the early quarter of May. All the candidates appearing for AIPMT, must have a clear idea about the AIPMT 2016 exam pattern.
To start with, the AIPMT examination would comprise of 1 paper with 180 questions. The questions are of objective type and there will be 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology. Each correct answer will fetch you 4 marks and 1/4th marks would be deducted from each wrong answer. The test duration is 3 hours. The AIPMT 2016 exam would start from 10 in the morning & would continue till 1 p.m. You can give the exam in either Hindi or English. But you have to specify clearly your choice of language and examination center on your application form.
The students would be given OMR sheets to mark their answers. The OMR sheets have to be marked with black or blue ball point pen only. Be careful while filling the answers as there is no chance of correction here in case you mark a wrong answer by mistake. The ball point would be provided at the examination center. You won’t need to bring any stationery item in the examination center. OMR sheets filled in pencil would be rejected.
You have to bring your AIPMT 2016 admit card with your post card sized photograph fixed on it. You should also bring a passport size photograph in the examination hall matching with the image uploaded on your AIPMT 2016 application form.
All the rough work needed during the examination must be performed on your Test Booklet only.
You must enter the examination hall from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the scheduled date of examination. The AIPMT 2016 is dated for May 1.
