The WBJEE is conducted every year in West Bengal for undergraduate science students of the state who are looking to study engineering or medical in the state academic institutions. The WBJEE 2016 is to be held on May 17 and the qualified candidates would be admitted for the 2016-17 session. The WBJEE 2016 admission procedure would be conducted through counseling. The counseling would be made online.
Only those candidates who qualify in the merit list would be called for 2016 WBJEE admission procedure through counseling. The counseling process begins with selection of choices of courses and colleges according to the preference of the students. - Fill up your options
- Lock the options
- The next step is for option freezing.
- It would be followed by seat allotment, seat confirmation and payment of admission fees.
- Finally, you will report to the specified institution.
It’s to note here that the counseling for qualified students in the medical program would be conducted online by Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Health & Family Welfare. Counseling fees
Though the WBJEE 2016 counseling fees have not been declared yet but you can have an idea on the fees from the 2015 WBJEE counseling procedure. The 2015 counseling fees were:
- Counseling charge for SFI- Rs. 40,000
- Counseling charge for TFW- Rs. 4000
- Counseling charge for Government Institute or University- Rs. 5000
