WBJEE 2016 Important Instructions

Are you about to sit for WBJEE 2016? The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts the WBJEE exam for aspiring undergraduate medical and engineering students every year. As a WBJEE aspirant, you must be careful about some WBJEE 2016 Important Instructions. The post below offers a brief on the crucial instructions to be followed.

• The WBJEE 2016 is dated for May 17.
• The aspiring candidates has to apply online only through http://wbjeeb.nic.in
• The photo to be uploaded for the online application must be clicked after 31^st December, 2015.
• The image must come with a clear fill-face view and the nose, eyes, chin and forehead should be properly visible.
• The photo must be clicked in a professional studio and low quality images would be rejected.
• The certificates applicable under reserved category should be issued prior to the date of the online application.
• The reserved category candidates will have their certificates issued by stated authorities.
• No document can be sent to WBJEE through post.
• The online application fee must be paid either through Credit/Debit card or through Allahabad Bank Challan generated through the WBJEE website.
• The application fee is Rs. 500 for Engineering or Medical and Rs. 600 for combined application.
• You must take a print out of the Confirmation Page or save it in your computer for future reference.
• In case, you need to make any correction in application form, you can avail the correction window from march 7^th to 12^th.
• The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of WBJEE from April 4.
• The candidate must reach the examination hall, 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
• Do not soil or damage the admit card.
• The candidate should bring his or her WBJEE admit card, one copy of the image featured in the admit card and one black or blue ball point pen to mark the OMR sheet.
• You would have to show the admit card while demanded by the center-in-charge of the examination center. In case, you fail to produce your admit card, your candidature would be nullified.
• Every seat in the examination hall would have a roll number. You have to find your roll number and sit in the designated place.
• Do not carry any textual material, whether printed or textual in your examination hall other than your admit card.
• Do not carry calculators, cell phones, log tables, slide rules & electronic watches that have calculator facilities, inside the examination hall. In case, you are found to possess such items, your candidature would be nullified.
• Do not leave your examination hall or seat while the exam is going on without permission from your invigilator.
• The WBJEE result would be published on WBJEE website on June 5, 2016.
• You have to produce the original version of the documents uploaded in the counseling process along with your WBJEE 2016 admit card. Failure to provide the required documents might result in cancellation of candidature.
