The district of Rhotak is located in the south eastern part of the state of Haryana. The district is bordered by the districts of Jind, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Hisar, Sirsa and Bhiwani. The district is also bordered by the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The district has its main centre for administration in the city of Rhotak itself.
