The district of Etah is one of the many districts of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. The main centre of administration for the district of Etah is located in the city of Etah. The district is also a very important part of the Aligarh division of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The district was one of the regions which were ruled by the Rajputs and the Yadavs in the past.
