Jhabua

The district of Jhabua is located in the western part of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The district has the city of Jhabua as its main centre for administration. The district of Jhabua shares its boundaries with the other districts of Alirajpur, Ratlam and Dhar. The districts also shares boundaries with the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. This is one of the districts that have a lot of rough terrain at its disposal. The undulated surface makes it one of the most disconnected districts of Madhya Pradesh. The district of Jhabua covers a land area of approximately around 37820 sq km with a population of 10.2 lacs individuals. The districts has a population density of 285 people per sq km. The district is a part of the 250 most backward districts of the Republic of India. The district depends on the funds provided by the government of India for its proper and efficient administration.
